PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a tape cassette arranged to make a display label adhered at the proper position by changing the shape so that the display label can not be visually adhered on the moving passage of a shutter of a cassette ease. SOLUTION: A front lid 5 is provided at the front surface side of the cassette case 1, and a shutter plate 6 moving backward in the sliding manner on the upper surface of the cassette case 1 linked with the operation to retreat a mouth by the opening of the front lid 5 is also furnished, then the side part opposite to the front lid 5 of the shutter plate 6 and the side part of the cassette case, whereto the side part is run against, are formed to the curved shape so that the rectangular display label 8 does not fall onto the upper surface of the cassette case 1, which is the moving passage of the shutter plate 6, and the upper moving passage 9 of the shutter is meanderingly formed.
