PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a reduction or fluctuation in the output of magnetic recording or reproducing by making the contact pressure of a magnetic tape on a magnetic head uniform on the magnetic head, and eliminating fluctuation in contact pressure in a gap position. SOLUTION: In a rotary drum 2 in which a magnetic head 14 is supported on a head substrate 15, the magnetic head is attached to a leaf spring (holding member) 16, the leaf spring is attached to the head substrate, and the magnetic head is elastically brought into contact with the tip of a conical projected part 17 integrally formed on the tip surface 15a of the head substrate.
