PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate optimum resonance conditions and to reduce steadily a switching loss. SOLUTION: A converter transformer 50, whose leakage inductance can be varied is used and an input voltage, inputted to a switching circuit 5, and a voltage drop by a current-detecting resistor 70, which is proportional to a load current flowing via the current-detecting resistor 70, are detected by a control circuit 60 to control a leakage inductance L1 of the converter transformer 50.
