PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calling message system, that can easily select and transmit a fixed form sentence and can easily edit and transmit a free sentence which is freely entered as well as the fixed form sentence and also a message resulting from adding the free sentence to the fixed form sentence, in the case of transmitting a message to pagers that are optionally grouped. SOLUTION: The calling message system consists of pagers 7 and a calling management unit 5 that calls them. The calling management unit 5 has a pager group registration function that groups the pagers to have respective group numbers and registers the group numbers, in linking with group buttons for designation of a concerned group; a message registration function that registers a message to be transmitted and a message button to designate the message on a menu linked with each other, a message display function that displays a message corresponding to a message button, when it is designated within a transmission character display column into which character entry can be available optionally, even from a keyboard; and a transmission function that transmits the message displayed in the transmission character display column to pagers of a designated group, when a group button is designated through a telephone line and paging channels.
