PURPOSE: An apparatus for testing sensor activation for a placement conformation of a press mold panel is provided to enhance an efficiency of a product line by confirming easily whether a sensor for sensing a placement of a press mold is activated correctly or not without setting a mold at press equipment directly. CONSTITUTION: A sensor activation test apparatus comprises a power source(1), a proximity confirmation sensor(2), an exciting coil(3), a lighting portion(4), and connector pins(p1-p5). For testing, the connector pin is connected at a connecting terminal of a press mold. The press mold is moved into the test apparatus direction artificially. The power source supplies a power at each element. The proximity conformation sensor senses an up/down movement and a horizontal movement of the press mold panel and drives depending the sensing operation. The proximity confirmation sensor excites the exciting coil when a loading of the press mold panel is detected. The lighting portion is emitted when the excite coil is excited.
