PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To report emergency information which comprises map information to various client terminals registered when a service contract is made without time and labor. SOLUTION: A character terminal 21 where a GPS receiver and Bluetooth system radio equipment are incorporated detects the depression of a report button, fetches position information from a GPS satellite 1 and transmits emergency information which comprises the position information and indicates an emergency state to an adapter terminal 22 connected to a portable telephone set 23 by a Bluetooth system. The adapter terminal 22 generates an E-mail based on the emergency information, adapts it to a TCP/IP and PPP control and distributes it from the portable telephone set 23 to a data processor 6 via a base station 3, the Internet 4 and a provider 5. The processor 6 receives the E-mail, authenticates a customer, stores the position information in a database, generates the E-mail where report source customer information is attached and transmits it to predetermined report destinations.
