PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for autonomously distributed delivery, by which contents can autonomously be updated and so on. SOLUTION: The autonomously distributed delivery system equipped with a plurality of server devices for distribution which can provide contents data stored in a cache storage means for a client device at a request made by the client device is equipped with a contents providing device as a primitive provision source for the contents data, a cache state controller which manages the cache storage means for one of a plurality of server devices for distribution, and a distribution processing plan implementing device which stores a distribution processing plan regarding the contents data, autonomously controls the operation of the cache state controller according to the distribution processing plan, and transfers the contents data between the server devices for distribution.
