摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile telephone where the reduction in transmission/ reception sensitivity of the antenna and the effect of the electromagnetic energy onto a human body can be suppressed and extension/retraction of the antenna can be facilitated. SOLUTION: The mobile telephone is provided with a telescopic antenna 4 and a container section 5 that contains the antenna 4 and holds the extended antenna 4. Then the container section 5 is tilted backside its enclosure so as to curve nearly the entire part of the extracted antenna toward the backside of the enclosure.
