PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent ticket paper from deforming due to bending of the ticket paper due to back feeding between a cutter and a print head. SOLUTION: After the ticket paper has been cut by the cutter, waiting is performed until the start of the next ticket printing. When the next ticket printing time is reached, the ticket paper is back-fed as much a distance as from the cuter to the print head and printing ticket data is subsequently started. In such a case, the space width from the ticket part end of ticket data is detected. When the space width is longer than the distance between the cuter and the print head, printing of the ticket data is started without back-feeding.
