PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exactly and reliably manage articles by exactly counting the number of a plurality of articles. SOLUTION: The number of articles can be calculated by stacking many articles, applying fixed pressurizing force from both of the sides, then measuring the total resistance value of a first electrode pattern 14 and a second electrode pattern 12, having different resistance values by using a resistance value measuring instrument 16, obtaining the difference of the resistance value, based on the measuring result and dividing it by the resistance value of the pattern 14. Furthermore, the system can be applied to an article management system.
