PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve efficiency of processing work of a photosensitive material, obtain stable processing performance without being affected by velocity of dissolution of a solid processing agent, and enable the solid processing agent to be applied to an automatic developing machine of conventional type for preparing replenishing liquid. SOLUTION: An automatic developing machine for a silver halide photosensitive material is provided with a processing vessel to store a processing liquid, a replenishing vessel which stores a replenishing liquid to be fed into the processing vessel, a means for feeding a solid processing agent into the replenishing vessel, a means for feeding a replenishing water for dissolving the solid processing agent into the replenishing vessel, and a controlling means which controls the means for feeding the replenishing water based on a detecting means to detect information on processing amount of the photosensitive material and which feeds the solid processing agent and the replenishing water into the replenishing water, and the replenishing vessel is equipped with a dividing means which comprises a filtering member and a stirring means which stirs the fluid therein.
