PURPOSE: A method for sealing a battery header is provided to improve an airtight degree in a battery by sealing a connection portion of a battery header part and an electrode member. CONSTITUTION: A method for sealing a battery header comprises the steps of: pressing a glass powder to form the pressed glass powder; sintering a glass bead made in the previous step at 630 to 680°C ; and sealing a connection portion of a battery header(110) and an electrode member(130) at 900 to 1030°C by use of the glass bead.
