PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a point-to-multipoint free space wireless optical communication system. SOLUTION: In an optical communication system having a concave surface primary mirror 310 and a convex surface secondary mirror 320 each having a hyperbolic surface, the convex surface secondary mirror 320 is secured. The convex surface secondary mirror 320 has a large focal surface 330 enabling to adjust the length between a transmitter and a receiver automatically. In the focal surface 330, an n×n optical fiber array 350 is disposed, which enables point-to-multipoint communication using a single light telescope. Each fiber in the n×n array 350 of the transmission telescope can focus a different reception telescope to transmit light toward each reception telescope through a different path. Similarly, for a multipoint-to-point communication system, the n×n array 350 is disposed within the surface 330 and each fiber in the n×n array 350 receives light from each transmission telescope through a different path. |
