PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processing system and terminal which reduce a time for processing operation. SOLUTION: The data processing system includes a microprocessor and a communication element, capable of communicating with an electronic module for sending a code signal to the microprocessor, and includes a hardware circuit which causes or does not cause the bit order of a word to be reversed as the function of the value of the code signal in the transfer of the word between the electronic module and the microprocessor. A time, spent when reversing the bit order of the word as the function of a code to be used, can be reduced and is profitable in real-time applications. For example, the system can be applied to the terminal of an SIM type card, such as a mobile telephone set. |
