PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine whether or not abnormality is caused in the feeding of read image paper by inputting the paper size of image paper to be read. SOLUTION: A means to input the paper size of the read image paper is provided, a counting means to count time required for the feeding of the image paper is provided, a comparing means to compare the length data (L) of the paper size obtained from the value of a paper size inputting means and the length data (1) of an image paper size calculated from the value of the counting means is provided, so that it is detected whether the read image paper is normally fed or not from the result of the comparing means. In the case of detecting abnormal feeding, it stops to output an image data red to an external device. |
