PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a line-connection control method in which a line connection is performed more surely by a method wherein a calling-request burst signal is transmitted efficiently by using spread spectrum even when a collision between burst signals is generated. SOLUTION: When information such as, e.g. a voice, data or the like is transmitted, a control-line signal processing circuit 23 receives a calling request detected through an interface 31 or a control signal (a calling request) to a terminal station 21, and it generates a control signal (a calling request) requesting the line connection so as to perform a processing operation such as an encoding operation, a multiplexing operation or the like. A control-line modulator 24 linearly modulates the output of the circuit 23, and a diffuser 25 diffuses it by using a diffusion code peculiar to the terminal station 2 allocated for a control line. The diffused signal is converted into a signal at a transmission frequency by an up-converter and power amplifier(U/C.HPA) 26, and it is amplified to prescribed transmission power so as to be burst-transmitted to a return-link (inbound) control line from an antenna 27. |
