PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable telephone set which can smoothly perform a key operation while it is stably supported by one hand. SOLUTION: Since finger insertion part 13 where a finger insertion hole 131 through which a finger can be inserted is integrally arranged at the lower part of the back 11 of the portable telephone set 1, the portable telephone set 1 can stably be supported without unexpectedly dropping it by inserting the finger into the finger through hole 131 of the finger insertion part 13 and restraining it.
