PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image forming device where spotted staining caused on the surface of recording material is reduced with simple constitution. SOLUTION: This heating device has a heat generation member energized to generate heat, an energizing control means for controlling the heat generation by the heat generation member, a pressure member arranged to be opposed to the heat generation member, a heat transmission film held between the heat generation member and the pressure member so as to involve the heat generation member, and a cleaning member arranged to be opposed to the pressure member, and is provided with a heater unit different from the heat generation member in the vicinity of the device through a space holding means for keeping space with one part of the device constant.
