PURPOSE: A method for driving a turbo-charger is provided to improve a turbo lag by driving the turbo-charger when a vehicle is in an idle state. CONSTITUTION: A method for driving a turbo-charger comprises the steps of: determining whether an idle switch is on(110); determining whether an engine is accelerated if the idle switch is off(120); proportionally controlling a waste gate control valve according to supercharging pressure if the engine is not accelerated(130); and operating the waste gate control valve if the idle switch is on or the engine is accelerated(140).
