PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for fabricating a thin film transistor liquid crystal display are provided to reduce a period of time required for manufacturing a liquid crystal cell by skipping a vacuum heat treatment and injecting liquid crystal when a liquid crystal display panel is assembled. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for fabricating a TFT-LCD includes a frame having a square hole through which liquid crystal is injected. A support pin(14) for supporting a glass substrate(8') is projected from the inner side of the frame. The glass substrate is fixed to the bottom of the frame and an inversion stage(6) having a UV lamp(12) is placed on the frame. The apparatus further includes a stage(4) that pushes up the glass substrate to attach the substrate to the inversion stage. A UV adhesive is coated at the edges of the first and second glass substrates to attach the two substrates with each other.
