PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to more facilitate the work of an operator, and then execute a soft phase at high speed. SOLUTION: This process control system is provided with an execution routine arranged in the first node of the process control system, one or more soft phases arranged in the other node away from the first node, and communication software arranged in each node so that the soft phase arranged in the node away from the first node can be called and executed by the execution routine. This operation makes it possible for the operator of the soft phase to interact with the soft phase by a work station or node which is convenient to the operator by reducing any load and communication traffic on a batch execution node.
