PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overcurrent alarm system which can be checked if it can correctly show that an overcurrent is present when an overcurrent actually flows. SOLUTION: When a test switch 7 is turned on, a control 2 generates a pseudo current signal by making the current signal from the current detector section 1 higher than the threshold by an appropriate means such as temporarily lowering the threshold set in the sensitivity current setting section 5. Since this pseudo current signal is sufficiently higher than the threshold, the control 2 decides that an overcurrent is present and sends an overcurrent signal to an LED display 3 and a sound output section 4 to make at least one of them display an overcurrent or give an overcurrent message. Accordingly, it is possible to check, without making an overcurrent actually flow, if the control 2, the LED display 3, and the sound output section 4 can work correctly to show the overcurrent. |
