PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relatively small electrifier and image forming apparatus in which discharge stability is kept satisfactory and, at the same time, discharge products and so on are removed, thereby eliminating an electrification irregularity problem. SOLUTION: Openings 21a and 21b are provided in both longitudinal ends of a shield case 21. A suction fan 67 is provided in the opening 21a. A suction fan 68 is provided in the opening 21b. Air is caused to flow in the extending direction of an electrifying wire 52, thereby removing and emitting discharge products and so on. |
