PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user authentication system, with which a user is efficiently authenticated. SOLUTION: This authentication system for authenticating a person to be authenticated is provided with a registered image database 120 for storing the respective stamp seal images of a plurality of seal impressions, owned by the person to be authenticated as the registered images of the person to be authenticated, while making the stamp seal images correspond to an authentication object showing the authentication object of the person to be authenticated and person to be authenticated identification information which authenticates the person to be authenticated, an inputting part for inputting one stamp seal image, the person to be authenticated identification information and the authentication object, and an authentication acceptance/rejection deciding part 108 for authenticating the person to be authenticated, when the stamp seal image and the authentication object inputted by the inputting part coincide with any registered image and the authentication object corresponding to the registered image stored, while being made to correspond to the person to be authenticated identification information, inputted by the inputting part in the database 120. |
