<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a user interface device capable of enlarging a desired position without deteriorating operability. SOLUTION: When transition to a character enlargement mode is instructed from a mode processing part 22, an enlargement display processing part 21 of a computer 1 monitors the preliminarily decided depression of a pop-up key. When the pop-up key is depressed, the enlargement display processing part 21 displays a pop-up window, and enlargement-displays a part indicated by a mouse pointer. At that time, when any character is included in the pertinent part, the enlargement display processing part 21 displays the pertinent character with a font in larger point. Thus, the character can be enlargement- displayed so as to be smooth and easily seen. When a user releases his or her hand from the pop-up key, the enlargement display processing part 21 ends the display of the pop-up window, and opens the wider picture to the user.</p> |
