PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speech interactive device with which the user does not feel the monotony of the speech dialog, since the user gets bored in many cases if the speech dialog becomes monotonous in the speech interactive device. SOLUTION: An interactive processing part outputting the response text to the recognized result of the inputted speech has a recognized result output part including a recognized result decision part which outputs the recognition character string when the recognition is successful, and outputs the recognition rejection signal when the recognition is unsuccessful, and an autonomous response text output part which retrieves the autonomous response dictionary storing the autonomous response text which is outputted by speech when recognition is unsuccessful, and outputs the autonomous response text.
