PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnifying viewer which enables a consumer purchasing and utilizing jewels to easily discriminate and understand the goodness of the jewels and inexpensively and easily enables the consumer to neatly magnify and view the images of the rays and the state of the appearance of the jewels by the reflected and transmitted light of the rays at every cut face of the jewels even if intricate and costly apparatus are not used. SOLUTION: This magnifying viewer for the jewels has a hole in the central part of a main body of an approximately hemispherical shape and has a magnifying lens and enables the consumer to magnify and view the jewels by peeping throughout the hole into the jewels. The main body of the approximately hemispherical shape is composed of a transparent body.
