PURPOSE: A head of bubble jet type ink-jet printer is provided to suppress generation of satellite droplet. CONSTITUTION: A head includes a base plate(110) having a manifold(112) supplying ink(180), an ink chamber(114) filled with ink to be discharged and having an upper diameter larger than a lower diameter so as to be bell-shaped and an ink channel(116) supplying ink from the manifold to the ink chamber; a nozzle plate(120) layered on the base plate and having a nozzle(122) on a point thereon corresponding with a center of the ink chamber; a heater(130) layered on the nozzle plate, formed to be annular and surrounding the nozzle to heat ink in the ink chamber; and an electrode(150) placed on the nozzle plate and electrically connected with the heater to impress current to the heater.
