<p>A system and process for migration enhancements to software located on a model or production system are described. When enhancements are received, a trigger file(s) (305) created. An archive copy (300) of the model or production system is saved, including the portion of the model or production system where the enhancements are to be migrated. The enhancements are migrated based on the trigger file (305), thereby enabling the enhancements to be automatically migrated. The archived copy (300) is reinstalled if the enhancements are not properly installed. If the enhancements are properly installed, the system is tested. The invention may enable migration to occur when the model or production system is used least by its users.</p> |
