PURPOSE: An RF(radio frequency) plasma display panel is provided to attenuate an electromagnetic wave. CONSTITUTION: An RF plasma display panel comprises a first dielectric layer and an RF ground electrode(74) on a lower plate, and a second dielectric layer, first RF electrodes(70A,70B) and second RF electrodes(72A,72B) on an upper plate. A signal having a phase is applied to the first RF electrode(70A) of a first cell. Another signal having an opposite phase is applied to the first RF electrode(70B) of a second cell. Signals having phases opposite to the first electrodes(70A,70B) are applied to the second RF electrodes(72A,72B), correspondingly. The signals applied to the first RF electrodes(70A,70B) and the second RF electrodes(72A,72B) make electric field and magnetic field between the first and the second RF electrodes(70A,70B,72A,72B) have opposite direction so as to reduce an electromagnetic wave within a cell. RF discharge is generated between the RF ground electrode(74) and the first and the second RF electrodes(70A,70B,72A,72B). |
