A shelf storage system consists of a frame which is rectangular as viewed from the front and triangular as seen from the side. The front face as seen from the side, inclines towards the rear, forming an inclined plane. A secondary shelf unit rests against the inclined plane and is raised and lowered by a suitable mechanism e.g. hand-operated crank and pulley.
