摘要 The present invention refers to the uses of the commercial DEAE-MacroPrep<TM> resin (Bio Rad Co.), in addition to the one known to its anion exchanger property, as polymeric support for peptide synthesis as well as for affinity chromatography, due to the fact that the triethylamine group (DEAE)-containing resin shows more reactive primary or secondary amine sites in its structure, allowing the covalent attachment of the C-terminal amino acid of a peptide sequence for further chain elongation through the classical solid phase method. The acrylate matrix lability towards successive trifluoroacetic (TFA) treatment used in the tert-butyloxycarbonyl (Boc) synthesis strategy enables the base-labile 9-fluorenylmethyloxycarbonyl (Fmoc) amine group protection to be used alternatively for peptide assembly with this resin.
