PURPOSE: A shelf for refrigerator is provided to extend and contract in front and rear direction of the refrigerator. CONSTITUTION: A shelf(34) includes a telescopic part(35) comprising a plurality of outer rods and inner rods telescopically constituted to adjust length thereof and shelf rods(36) installed parallel with the outer rods and the inner rods constituting the telescopic part to support refrigerated food received thereon; and a shelf insertion part formed on a rear wall(31) of a refrigerator for the shelf folded by the telescopic part to be inserted therein so that the unnecessary shelf is capable of being stored in the refrigerator.
