<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clean polluted water of a lake or river without depending on whether water flow is present or not by housing a cleaning material with deposition of microbes which clean the polluted water in a cylindrical pile body having a bottom and plural permeation holes perforated in the surrounding walls. SOLUTION: A cleaning material 2 using fiber such as polyvinylidene chloride, polypropylene or Vinylon (R), or nonwoven fabric, activated carbon or the like with deposition of microbes is housed in a bottomed cylindrical pile body 5 having an open upper end and a bottom plate 5a fixed to the lower end. In the pile body 5, a metal mesh 5b as a purifying material mount to mount the cleaning material 2 is disposed at a specified position near the water surface or near the water bottom. Or, plural permeating holes 5d are formed in a specified pattern like a lattice or staggered pattern all over the walls of the pile body 5 facing the purifying material 2. Thereby, polluted water of a lake or river can be cleaned without depending on whether water flow is present or not.</p> |
