<p>This invention relates to an exhaust gas flow control valve, designed to be mounted at the end of the inlet pipe (2) of an exhaust line silencer (1). This control valve is characterised by the fact that it is essentially made up of a chamber (7) to be mounted on the end of the inlet pipe (2) of the silencer (1). This chamber (7) is fitted with exhaust gas outlets (8) that can be adjusted using a device (9) for adjusting said outlets (8) according to the pressure of said exhaust gases. The invention is particularly suitable for use in the manufacture of exhaust lines, specifically in the automobile industry, and even more specifically for the manufacture of exhaust silencers.</p> |
