摘要 |
PURPOSE: A slit emission liquid crystal display is provided to produce a compact liquid crystal display and improve optical efficiency by using a slit-type organic field emission electrode pattern. CONSTITUTION: A slit emission liquid crystal display includes an aluminum layer(3) formed on a lower glass substrate(1), a resin layer(5) formed between neighboring aluminum layers, and conduction band(7) respectively formed on the aluminum layers. The liquid crystal display further includes a simple electrode(9) formed on the resin layer, and an organic field emission electrode having a slit pattern. The organic field emission electrode is composed of a stacked structure of the aluminum layer, conduction band and an ITO formed on the conduction band. The ITO is the same material that is used for forming the simple electrode. The slit emission liquid crystal display further has an absorption layer formed under a black matrix placed under an upper substrate to absorb lights, and a polarizer formed on the upper substrate to reflect lights.
