The invention concerns Th. use of polidocanol for the preparation of a pharmaceutical composition for the treatment of the uterine and the fallopian tube of a female mammal, including human. More specifically, the invention concerns the use of polidocanol for the occlusion of the fallopian tubes and/or for the treatment of functional endometrial bleeding and cysts of said subjects and patients. The invention includes the methods of said non-surgical treatments.
