<p>The invention provides a kind of natural anti-angiogenic composition, method for preparation thereof and its application in angiogenic inhibitor and antitumor drug. The composition can be obtained by extracting Radix trichosanthis in solvent at normal temperature and pressure, subjecting the extract to a treatment with a kind of solvent and separating the obtained carbohydrates by column chromatography at least one time. By the means of anti-angiogensis assay in vivo, cell culture assay in vitro, and animal antitumor assay, the active ingredient extracted from radix trichosanthis according to the invention has been demonstrated anti-angiogenic and antitumor activity.</p> |
