ETHYLENE/VINYL ALCOHOL COPOLYMER RESIN COMPOSITION

An ethylene/vinyl alcohol copolymer resin composition which has a content of propionic acid (A) of 10 to 1,000 ppm, a content of a boron compound (B) of 10 to 2,000 ppm in terms of boron element amount, and a content of an alkali metal salt (C) of 50 to 500 ppm in terms of metal element amount; a multilayer structure comprising the composition; and a process for producing pellets comprising the composition. The ethylene/vinyl alcohol copolymer resin composition is reduced in coloration and film surface unevenness and excellent in appearance and suitability for long run even in high-temperature melt molding such as co-extrusion molding or co-injection molding together with a high-melting resin, e.g., a polyamide or polyester.
