BROADBAND WIRELESS REPEATER USING THE BEAMFORMING TECHNIQUE FOR WIRELESS TELECOMMUNICATION SERVICE

Broadband wireless repeater system for mobile communications comprises Receiving array antenna to receive the week original signal from base station and strong interference signals induced from trasmitting antenna; Multi-channel receiver to convert radio frequency signals to proper frequency signals and amplify signals: Spatial signal processor to cancel the interference frequency signal included in the signal coming from multi-channel receiver: Modulator & Amplifier to convert the output signal from spatial signal processor to radio frequency signal and amplify the signal: Trasmitting Antenna to transmit the signal to the shadowing region. When the receiving antenna and the trasmitting antenna are installed vertically, this invention is applicable to develop wideband wireless repeater system, which is reliable and and robust to various errors. The reason is that the original received week signal can be amplified effectively by suppressing the strong interference with the proposed fast signal processing technique, which is also robust to various errors of antenna elements.
