<p>An additional-weighting weight adapted to be mounted on the grip end bottom of a batting tool, which is in the form of a composite body consisting of a loading member of high specific gravity material and a soft raw material, the loading member being divisible into an internal additional-weighting element and an external additional-weighting element; and a grip end bottom additional-weighting structure using the same, wherein the center of gravity is located nearer to the grip and the node of vibration on the grip is moved to the grip fulcrum. The loading member in the mounted state is spaced away from the grip end component with a soft raw material region interposed therebetween. The additional-weighting weight has at least easy mountability and flexibility in balance adjustment and will never comes off during playing. And immediately before impact, operability related to swing and stroke is improved by head-light (grip-heavy) and at the instant of impact, the moment of inertia around the center of gravity is increased and shock vibration due to impact is suppressed or absorbed (damped).</p> |
