PURPOSE: A water in silicone type cosmetic containing silicone oils without general mineral oils or ester oils and an antimicrobial and/or antiinflammatory agent is provided which can inhibit the proliferation of resident bacteria on the skin and is particularly suitable for use in washing acne and oily skin. CONSTITUTION: This cosmetic comprise 5 to 40% by weight of silicon oil as a component for removing face contaminants, 0.1 to 20% by weight of a silicone oil emulsifier, 0.1 to 10% by weight of an amphipathic surfactant, the residual of an aqueous phase and additionally 0.001 to 4% by weight of an antimicrobial and/or antiinflammatory agent.
