PURPOSE: A linear compressor is provided to be easily assembled, to improve productivity and efficiency of a driving motor. CONSTITUTION: A chamfer(39) is formed on an inner end of an outer core(37). At least either of a holder(45) or a cylinder block(15) has shapes thereon corresponding with the chamfer and has a protrusion(47) contacting with the chamfer so as to assemble the outer core and a magnet(41) without a separate jig. A concave(49) is formed on a part of a supporting area of the holder and the cylinder supporting the outer core to reduce turbulence loss flowing on a surface of the outer core.
