TRANSFORMING ANIMAL MEAL INTO FUELS

The invention relates to a method for transforming animal meal into fuels, particularly for industrial combustion plants, such as power stations, furnaces or combustion ovens. The animal meal is mixed with at least one additive, which can be a substance containing carbon and/or minerals and/or metal to form a mixture and is rolled under pressure into pellets or briquettes. The invention also relates to a solid fuel based on organic material, consisting essentially of animal flour and at least one additive and is embodied as a pressed item in the form of a pellet or briquette. The invention also relates to a method for disposing animal residues, particularly animal meal with the aid of the above-mentioned method.
