<p>A biosensor, comprising an insulation substrate, an electrode system installed on the substrate, a reaction layer having oxidoreductase and electronic mediator contained therein, a specimen liquid feed passage having the electrode system and the reaction layer contained therein and having air holes at the terminal side thereof, a specimen feed part, and a filter installed between the specimen liquid feed passage and the specimen feed part, wherein the plasma provided by filtrating blood cells by the filter is sucked into the specimen liquid feed passage by capillary phenomenon, and the secondary side center part of the filter is projected from both right and left end parts into the specimen liquid feed passage, whereby a cholesterol sensor allowing the plasma provided by filtering blood cells to rapidly reach the electrode system and capable of measuring whole blood with a high accuracy and an excellent responsiveness can be provided.</p> |
