ORGANIC ELECTRO-LUMINESCENT LIQUID-CRYSTAL DISPLAY

PURPOSE: An organic EL(Electro-Luminescent) LCD is provided to improve contrast and reduce resistance by forming a ladder-type sub electrode in a pixel unit. CONSTITUTION: An organic EL LCD includes an anode(3), a cathode(11) which forms an electrical field with the anode(3), an organic layer(9), and an insulation layer(7). A sub electrode(5) which has a ladder type is formed over the anode(3). The sub electrode(5) is made of a metal which has a work function for 50 percent of pixel aperture rate.
