摘要 PURPOSE: A method of fabricating a semi-transmission reflective type liquid crystal display is provided to maximize reflection and transmission efficiencies of a reflection plate with respect to external lights to improve luminance and contrast. CONSTITUTION: A resin layer(13) is formed on a lower substrate(11). Spacers having an optimized size are sprayed in an optimized density on the surface of the resin layer and then removed, to form a plurality of engraved shapes on the surface of the resin layer. An aluminum layer(17) is deposited on the resin layer, to form a reflection plate having engraved shapes. A photosensitive resin layer is formed on the reflection plate in a predetermined thickness and patterned, to form a porous reflection plate. The lower substrate having the porous reflection plate is attached to an upper substrate to accomplish a liquid crystal cell.
