PURPOSE: A driving circuit of a liquid crystal display(LCD) and a driving method thereof are provided, which obtains low power consumption and also prevents a degradation of a picture quality. CONSTITUTION: The driving circuit of an LCD includes an output part(50), and the first switching device(51) performs a switching to precharge a data line(Data line) with a Vcom+ voltage during a high impedance section in case of a positive field. The second switching device(52) performs a switching to precharge the data line with a Vcom- voltage during the high impedance section in case of a negative field. The third switching device(53) switches data being output from the data output part to a pixel electrode, after the precharge to Vcom+ or Vcom- is completed by the first and the second switching device.
