<p>A novel polypeptide which is useful in searching for a remedy for diabetes; a polynucleotide encoding the above polypeptide; an expression vector containing the above polynucleotide; a cell transfected with the above expression vector; an antibody binding to the above polypeptide; and a method of screening a remedy for diabetes.
