<p>A method of separating, in an aqueous environment, isotopes from the same element, belonging to alkaline-earth, transition elements and heavy metals with an atomic weight less than 209, particularly lanthanides. The inventive method comprises the treatment of an aqueous environment containing isotopes from one element with an organic ligand designed to link preferentially to one or several isotopes from the element, and the separation, using a means of separation, of a retentate containing the isotopes that are complexed to the ligand, from a permeate containing the isotopes that are not complexed. The means of separation is selected from nanofiltration and resin or an ion exchanger medium that contains the ligand.</p> |
